FAQs
Why charter Central Aviation’s Navajo Chieftans over turbine aircraft like the King Air?
Navajo Chieftan features less operational costs, yet provides the same executive class comfort and comparative speeds of pressurized cabin aircraft such as the King Air. Since pressurization is not required for most trips in Northern BC, Alberta & Saskatchewan, chartering a Central Aviation Navajo ensures that you aren’t paying for more equipment than you need. For five passengers or less, you aren’t paying for seats that would remain empty in a King Air. Our Navajo Chieftans provide an extremely cost effective travel solution that will benefit your bottom line.
Is Springbank a business-friendly airport?
Calgary’s Springbank Airport is a convenient, professional aviation facility, providing all necessary infrastructure and navigational systems. Lack of delays from the Springbank Airport ultimately make total trip time less. We welcome all passengers to enjoy the comfort and privacy of our private passenger lounge.
What kind of experience do your crews have?
Our pilots are carefully chosen on the basis of their existing multi engine IFR experience in Canada’s more remote locales. Candidates must prove themselves in challenging environments, in business, aircraft, runways and weather, before they are considered. That broad base of primary experience is supplemented with Central Aviation’s own Transport Canada-approved training program, annual in flight and ground training, check rides, constant practice and demonstrations of ability, mentoring, as well as a professional “continuous learning” organizational culture.
